Blustery cool conditions greeted 10 riders to another round of the main Triangle course. It was good to see new rider Emma Dooley join the regulars. Apparently there were also some pigs trying to get in on the action at Weeton!
Fastest rider on the night was guest Matt Chipping in 26:44, and fastest OCC rider Sam Ward in 27:09. Fastest woman was Helen Goldthorpe in 34:44.
Biggest improvement and maximum points went to Rebecca Middlebrooke, knocking a minute off her last ride.
After five rounds of the series, Sam Ward leads the points competition, but with a long way to go it's still all to ride for.
Next week's event is cancelled due to a clash with the Prologue Road Race on the Pennypot circuit. We will return to the main course the week after. If you wish to ride or can help marshal, please get in touch ( marshaling list ).
