The final evening round of the Triangle season saw another strong turn out of 19 riders (18 OCC + 1 guest) to race the 10 mile course on the A168 near Walshford.
After a few weeks off racing, Sam Ward returned with the fastest time of the night, with 21:13. Fastest woman was guest rider Sarah Lewthwaite in 24:19, and fastest OCC woman was Helen Goldthorpe with 26:06.
Knocking over 2 minutes off last week's time, Claire Jessop took maximum points in the handicap trophy.
Point gains for the leaders in the handicap competition were small, so with just one round left, Sam Ward holds a four point lead over second placed John Raftery, with Jon Hobbs a further six points back.
It all stands to be decided on the 30mile event on the Red Wall (A168) at 0900 on the 10th September. If you want to race please get in touch, or click on the event on the website.
Well done to all who raced, and thank you to those who helped the event run.
