The last full lap of the Triangle course for this season saw 8 riders (7 OCC, 1 guest) take on the hot conditions.
Fastest on the night was Jon Hobbs in 29:01, and fastest woman was Helen Goldthorpe in 33:17.
Most points on the night in the handicap competition went to James Cullen.
With only the 30mile event on the 8th September still to count, John Raftery takes a 7 point lead over Helen Goldthorpe, with Sam Ward 2 points further back.
Next week sees a 2-Up event on the Walshford course. Get in touch if you wish to race.
With the season almost at a close, we'd like to give a big thank you to all who raced and volunteered to make these events go ahead and worthwhile. Thirty different members and seven guests raced across the season, from those still in the youth categories up long time veterans. It was also good to see a few new faces on the start line.
We'd particularly like to thank the series organisers (Liam Mealey, John Barnett, Tony Wild) and regular marshals (John Churchman, Steve Gaunt).
