Phantom traffic lights led to a shortened 9mile variant of the Triangle course. The loss of the top of the mountain along with decent weather attracted a field of 13 riders (8 OCC, 5 guests), including several for the first time this season (welcome former organiser Sheldon Howcroft, former fastest woman Claire Jessop and marshalling regular Phil Mason)
Fastest on the night was Sam Ward in 18:22. Fastest woman was guest Sarah Lewthwaite in 22:55 and fastest OCC woman was Claire Jessop in 27:21.
Biggest improvement in the handicap competition went to Tom Broadley. With three rounds left to race in the series, John Raftery takes a 5 point lead over Sam Ward, with Liam Mealey currently rounding out the podium.
Next week sees two events. On Tuesday we have the 10 mile TT championship at Rabbit Hill/Walshford. Pre-enter by getting in touch or via the rides app to be elligible for prizes.
Next Thursday sees the final lap of the main Triangle course for this season, at 7:30 from Arthington.
Details of those events can be found at this link and if you can help marshall any, please indicate on this form
Well done all racers, and thank you to the marshalls
