A warm set of conditions greeted the riders for the weekly Triangle TT, this time on the main course. Seven OCC members and two guests rode.
Fastest on the night was Sam Ward, and with a time of 26:42 posted his fastest time of the year. Fastest woman was guest Sarah Lewthwaite in 32:59, and fastest OCC woman was Helen Goldthorpe in 33:26.
Maximum points in the handicap competition went to Jon Hobbs. After ten rounds, it remains very close at the top with 4 points across the podium places, led by veteran John Raftery.
Due to temperary traffic lights, the next event (25th July) will be a short course, with a different start and finish. The start will be from Wayside Terrace, near to Weeton Station, and after following the course through Pool and Harewood Bridge, will finish on Dunkeswick Lane.
The week after will see the 10 mile championship TT at Walshford on the 30th July. Pre-entry via the website rides app is required to be eligible for prizes.
