Audax is an organised cycling event in which participants attempt to cycle reasonably long distances within a pre-defined time limit. Audax events are not a race, success in an event is measured by its completion. These events are not expensive to enter as they tend not to have free feed stations and other luxuries.
The Audax UK website has a large calendar of events, with maps, which makes it easy to locate events in our area. The website lists dozens of rides across the North of England, including those listed below. If you are interested in joining one of these ride why not mention this on the Member’s Facebook page to see if it attracts interest from other club members.
