After a couple of disrupted events, the Triangle TT returned to it’s usual course, and a strong turn out of 17 riders (10 OCC, 7 guests) were greeted with a pleasant, warm if slightly gusty evening.
Fastest on the night was OCC member Sam Ward, with a time of 27:13, just one second ahead of guest Sam O’Shea. Fastest on handicap was John Raftery, with a scaled time of 29:38.
As we get into the latter part of the season, Jon Hobbs leads the points competition, but it’s still all very close, with Helen Goldthorpe and Tom Broadley within two points of the top.
Next week sees the Hilly 14 Championship, starting in Leathley, and the week after is the 10 mile Championship at Walshford. If you wish to be included in the championship competition for either of these, please inform Liam Mealey the before the day of the event.
Well done to all racers, and thank you to all volunteers.
