The Triangle TT starts on 20th May, on the Walshford Course. Most details can be found here
For those of you looking to race, a few things to note.
The A59 junction onto the A168 is closed to traffic, and will be for the first two events, so when approaching you will need to use the Boroughbridge or Walshford Junctions to join the course.
The start is at Rabbit Hill at 7:30pm. Please arrive approximately 30mins before to sign up and collect numbers, but ideally park away from Rabbit Hill. There are numerous laybys along the course ideal for this purpose.
For the first two events, Tony Wild will be managing on-the-day details, including the sign on sheet.
We are hoping to have two timekeepers (John Barnett and Martin Tallontire), and so should hopefully be able to run both 10 and 15mile distances. We will have marshals at the Walshford and Boroughbridge roundabouts.
A reminder also, the CTT now require all riders to have mounted on their bike a rear red light.
Please acknowledge any COVID restrictions; do not attend if you have any symptoms, and ideally bring your own pen to sign on. Any numbers will be cleaned between events. However, if you intend to attend multiple consecutive events, you may wish to retain your number across them.
I have provided a link below to a risk assessment for a 25mile course that is common to the two available distances. In addition, please be aware of any dust or debris on the road resulting from the ongoing construction, especially around the A59 junction.
If you have any questions, please get in touch and we’ll try to help.
Good racing, and have fun.
