Remember, remember the 5th of November.
The Bs are riding to Howarth, with Karen leading. It’s a 53 miler – the longest and hilliest we have planned for the rest of the year. The main group will be broadly sticking to this route: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/16757878
If that’s not enough to get you interested then it’s also worth knowing that this ride goes close to quite a few rail stations so you can take advantage of the flexibility of a B ride and jump off at Howarth, Skipton or Keighley and grab a train to Bingley, Shipley, Kirkstall Forge, Bradford or Leeds.
If anybody is short of time and would like a bit of quick climb challenge then there’s a very nice short cut at Howarth (15 miles into the ride) that goes up over Gooseye to Oakworth and Keighley. If you’ve not done it before then think East Chevin with bells on.
I’ll put some more details on Facebook. If anybody is interested in the shortcut options (as an alternative the route the main group will take) then please post on Facebook or let us know on the day.
