corsaRosa 2017 – Event 1 Sunday 7th May

The corsaRosa league has grown for 2017 with 11 local clubs now taking part following the success of the inaugural league in 2016.

All but one of those teams were represented at this year’s 1st round using the Hilly V810 course based at Addingham. Four rode from Otley CC, the fastest being James Cullen, who recorded 29:38. Next Otley rider was Chris Radcliffe in 31:33, followed by youth rider Dexter Leeming-Sykes in 33:06 and Andrew Bolton in 35:05.

Last year’s overall winner Tom van Rossum of Yorkshire Road Club was fastest on the day with 26:18 with Sarah Gardiner of Queensbury Queens of the Mountain CC first woman in 31:40 and Alfie Ritchie of albaRosa first youth with 32:24.
