Hill Climb
1 October 2011 - Course V891/V897 - Start 1100
Organiser Claire Jessop
On a fantastic day (for spectating anyways) a high quality entry of riders took to Guise Cliff and Norwood Edge for this years hillclimb. Tejvan Pettinger won both climbs from Swedish mountain biker Gunnar Gronlund on Norwood Edge and ex national champion Matt Clinton on Guise Cliff.
A superb 13 Otley CC riders took the start with Gerald Armstrong taking club honours in the overall and on Guise Cliff, but James Cullen got his nose in front on Norwood Edge to take the club championship. Tom Cullen took the Juvenile prize.

25 Mile Time Trial
3 July 2011 - Course V235 - Start 1000
Organiser Ged Millward
On another beautiful sunny morning, Ged Millward organised this years club open 25 between Boroughbridge and Walshford. Tejvan Pettinger was fastest on the day, with 54.54. With Ged organising rather than riding, the battle for fastest Otley rider was taken by Chris Yates, fresh from a 50 the previous day, recording 59.45 and winning the fastest 50-59 year old.
Tim Howcroft was 29 seconds back in 1.00.14 and along with James Cullen (1.01.11) these three took the team prize. Ian Cullen was just behind in 1.02.22, followed by Stephen Broadley 1.10.53, Peter Yates 1.11.18 (and fastest 70-79 award) Tony Bulmer 1.12.06 and Tom Broadley 1.12.57.

50 Mile Time Trial
26 June 2011 - Course V258 - Start 0700
Organiser James Cullen
James Cullen organised the club's open 50 on Sunday morning. He reported: It was a beautiful day but I found the second of my return legs to Dishforth hard as the wind got up and the final section down the A168 was grim!
Not a quick day and felt 'cooked' wearing my Giro helmet.
However pleased to scrape a 25mph ride and from an organisers point of view even more happy that event went without a hitch. Great Thanks to all club members that made this possible.
Ride of the day was Matt Moorehouse from Preston CC who beat his entry form time by nearly 7mins to win with a 1.47. Ged got close with another super ride
