The club has four groups meeting for regular rides. Brief descriptions are shown above for the A Section, use the menu above to access the other sections rides, along with a link to the full run listing.
Club runs take place every Sunday and are full day rides with morning and lunch stops. Leisure Section rides take place each fortnight and are usually completed by 2.00 pm. Cyclists are free to join any of the rides for as much or as little of the ride as their time permits. Rides start from Otley Town Centre, Buttercross (covered market stall) next to the clock tower with 9.00 am meet for 9.15 departure.
Club members also meet up on Saturday mornings at Buffers Cafe, Storiths (A section) and the Cavendish Pavilion, Bolton Abbey (other sections) at around 10.30 – 11.30 to ride back to Otley as a group.
Otley Cycle Club recommends that ALL MEMBERS carry emergency contact details (ICE) with them at all times when involved in any club activity/ride. Please complete the emergency contact details and medical information section on your membership card and this can then be carried with you on all club activities. We also recommend ID bracelets, carrying your BC membership card and storing ICE details in an unlocked mobile phone.
