A nice gentle ride along the quiet back roads to Addingham, where the group will have a choice to make , they can cross the bridge and have coffee at Outside the Box or continue a few miles more and have coffee and cake at Abbey Tea Rooms, this is a lovely ride mainly on quiet roads, a couple of small hills and an excellent introduction to Social riding .

Stretching Ride to Fewston (21 miles)

This ride will really test your climbing legs and it will feel longer than 21 miles.  In return we offer you some glorious views across the reservoirs of Fewston and Lindley.

We start with a climb up to Farnley and then a sharp descent to the trout farm.  A steady climb brings the route to the top of the ridge with views to Otley on the left and Harrogate on the right.  The ride goes along Norwood Lane towards Fewston, this road can be very challenging in a head wind so a great opportunity to practice drafting !! .  After the coffee stop the route goes to the top of Snowden ridge via Timble village and then a lovely long descent back into Otley.
