The club has TT championships at several distances from the short, lung-busting hill-climb to the much, much longer and gruelling 24-hour.
Championship events are split between those held as part of the Triangle Series and those incorporated into open, CTT sanctioned events.
The Triangle Series starts Thursday 27th April and Sheldon Howcroft has almost finished finalising the events (dates, distances, courses etc) including the 10, Hilly-14, 25 and 30, all of which are championship events. Full details will be notified soon via the website and by email. Although the traditional series-end meal at The Wharfedale, Arthington, will be held after the last Pool Triangle-based 12 1/2 on Thursday 31st August, it’s hoped the 30 championship will be held just over three weeks later on Sunday 17th September using the A168 near Boroughbridge.
Please note: Entries to the 10, Hilly-14, 25 and 30 championships must be submitted in advance to Sheldon, with details also sent to the racing secretary on email@example.com, no later than a week before each event. This allows correct setting out of the field and for handicaps to be calculated. Numbers permitting, non-championship entries will be allowed on the day.
Dates for championships held as part of open events – Hill-climb, 50, 100, 12-hour, 24-hour – are now available, so to allow you to plan your season and to start getting in the miles for those at longer distances, these are listed below in chronological order.
Please note: Entries for each of these events must be submitted direct to the event organiser as detailed on the CTT website and in the CTT 2017 Handbook. As with Triangle based championships, details must be sent to the racing secretary on firstname.lastname@example.org, no later than a week before each event.
