It’s not often a national championship is held so close to home but Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th January sees the National Cyclo-Cross Championsips come to Peel Park at Bradford.
Saturday’s races start at 9:30 a.m. These cover the following.
Race 1: 9:30am – Veteran women
Race 2: 11am – Veteran men 50+
Race 3: 12.15pm – Youth under-16 and under-14 girls
Race 4: 1.15pm – Youth under-16 and under-14 boys
Race 5: 2.30pm – Veteran men
Sunday’s races also start at 9.30 a.m.
Race 1: 9.30am – Under-23 men
Race 2: 10.45am – Under-23 women
Race 3: 12 noon – Junior men
Race 4: 1.15pm – Elite women
Race 5: 2.30pm – Elite men
Andrew Moxon and James Cullen are representing Otley Cycle Club, both riding the Veteran Men 50+ race on Saturday. Why not go along and cheer them on and marvel at the bike handling skills of all the competitors? Just make sure you wear some sturdy footwear and don’t get too close to the jet washes!
