Here are your ride choices for Sunday 5th June to North Rigton and Bolton Abbey with a choice of three different routes and café stops.
GENTLE RIDE : NORTH RIGTON, SQUARE AND COMPASS 16 MILES
This route starts with a gentle ride along Pool road and then gradually ascends up to Armscliffe Cragg stopping at the Square and Compass for coffee and smarties. The return leg is mainly descending down to Otley, with a short climb up to Farnley which will be done with plenty of stops

Ride Guide: Phil Staniforth
STRETCHING RIDE : NORTH RIGTON, SQUARE AND COMPASS 23 MILES
A really lovely loop around the Wharfe Valley, with a climb up the hill from Asquith to the Snowden Ridge and then onto Fewston and then round to North Rigton (most of this ride is the reverse route of our Stretching Ride to Fewston) There are fantastic views of the reservoirs and you will see Armscliffe Cragg from all sides. The café stop is at 15 miles so you may want to take a snack with you to sustain you up the final hill climbs before coffee!

STRETCHING – CAVENDISH PAVILION 26 MILES
A classic ride along the valley to the famous Cavendish Pavilions. This route goes along the gentle valley roads on the outward leg and then takes the main road via Burley in Wharfedale for a slightly flatter route back to Otley

Ride Guide : Naakesha Seth
We have no Strenuous Rides this week due to a lot of riders who would normally volunteer as Guides/Backmarkers doing Le Petit Depart Sportive, so strenuous riders can join this group, as this will be done at a slightly faster pace.
